What’s the Eve mattress made from?
Most people think the Eve mattress is a standard memory foam mattress. But the 3 different layers of advanced foam have different purposes developed explicitly for a better nights sleep. Eve Sleep has additionally included an anti-slip base, and the entire mattress is encased in a plush stretch moisture-wicking polyester in the Eve Sleep brands colours.
CertiPUR inspects the Eve mattress as well as other safety measures like Oeko-Tex to make sure it doesn’t contain any harmful chemicals. Eve mattresses additionally pass the British standards for fire safety and other UK tests.

Anti-slip base – A convenient anti-slip layer is added to the bottom of the mattress. Excellent for keeping your bed in place when you move around in the night, and avoiding the pain of repositioning your mattress every morning.
The Cover – The cover encasing the mattress is made from plush stretch polyester, delivering it a soft, stretchy, and breathable surface. The top panel is also moisture-wicking, so it will stop you from getting hot and clammy in the night. The side panels are made from a sturdier fabric to add extra protection and durability when moving the mattress. The cover has the traditional Eve Sleep colours of a white top and yellow side panels.
Thickness and weight
Eve original mattress is much lighter than a hybrid foam mattress because of the lack of springs. However, it’s slighter heavier than other all memory foam brands because of the quality of materials used. The king-sized mattress is weighing in at 33.6 kg.

Your new Eve mattress comes shipped to your door in a compressed, vacuum-sealed box. It’s lighter when it’s still packaged however we do say get two people to move it into position near your bed frame. From there, take it out of the box and place it on your bed frame. Since the bed is compressed and shrink-wrapped when cutting this open, it will inflate, which is a fun process to see.

The eve mattress return policy allows customers to return their mattress within 100 days of purchase for a full refund.

Is the Eve mattress right for you?
We have found out in our Eve mattress review that the overall feel of the mattress is medium which works for the majority of front, side, and back sleepers. People who tend to sleep on there back more prefer a harder mattress so the Eve original might not be for you. However, there is a 100 day trial period to give it ago.
Also, if you struggle to get out of bed in the morning, it might not be the best mattress for you. Because all-foam mattress tends to be thinner and offers less edge protection, you sink into the mattress and may find it harder to get out of bed. You might want to try a hybrid mattress like the OTTY.
